You have made some great progress on this piece. I am glad you did not walk away from it. It is graphic and full of contrast and the color sensibility is very bold.
See if you can create more depth by showing the visible edges within the window frame and by pulling out the metal bar (perspective) that separates the door so that it appears closer to us than the flat portion of the door itself.
By applying a gradation on the floor and on selected areas of the locker to show light I have a feeling this will definitely be a portfolio piece.
